PET PHOTO GUIDE
I cannot stress enough how important a good reference image is. Your smartphone is more than capable of capturing an excellent photo for me to work from. Take a look at these dos and don’ts to help you get the best results.
✔️Face on, at eye level
✔️Natural lighting to show true colours
✔️Clear and high resolution

To ensure I can get to work on your portrait as quickly as possible, please ensure that your submitted photos don’t resemble any of the bad examples below.
Blurry, out of focus and pixilated
Too far away so detail is unclear
Bad lighting
Bad angle, missing facial features
I’m aware that many of my commissions come from people who have lost their beloved pets and don’t have access to many images that fit these rules.
I’m more than happy for you to send over whatever you have, and see if there’s anything I can work with.
